Default Thinking of returning for fun

Hello everyone I have played GW since 07ish and I have a question... I am thinking of creating a new toon, re-do a good bit of GW with 7H and then do WiK and WoC. I have never completed them. My question is, at the state right now, is GW worth returning to? The game seems very dead. And is WoC/WiK worth completing for GW2? Thank you!

If it's worth it to return is up to you, it's really not a question that anyone else could answer, but the game is far from "dead". As to WIK and WOC and GW2, not sure what your asking? Finishing either will give you nothing in GW2, unless you follow the storyline. All they really do is wrap up a few loose ends.

If you still find enjoyment out of it, then yea why not.

Otherwise this game is dead, people who play are people who do SCs or grinding for HoM.

Its not the guild wars of 3-4 years ago.

This.

You plan a comeback "for fun", wether or not you'll have fun depends on you and your expectations.

Speaking personally, I stopped going after personal achievements and titles in mid-2009 and then I let my creative wave break free. Developing new characters, defining their looks and styling while enjoying the storyline has always been great fun for me in the last few years, to the point it's been basically the only reason for me to keep playing.

You've been missing for years, so going through the games once more won't feel as repetitive as it could for someone who never quit. So, ask yourself, do you think you'd enjoy rediscovering this game again?

If so, it's surely worth it.

the fun part only you can answer. there are a few good guilds out there still doing prep for gw2 and those who do events for fun. at this point id look for one of them especially if you plan on doing gw2

If you want to do PvE content, it's free and fun, so yes, it's "worth it" in any meaningful objective sense.

I personally thought WiK and WoC represent the best PvE content in the game, so take that for what you will.
